Red Wine

Varieties: The traditional Penedes grape Tempranillo (86%) is the basis of the red Algendaret. Other varieties are also present in the coupage: Merlot (6%) exerting a rounding- off effect, and Cabernet sauvignon (6%) heightening the overall characteristics. The wine is bottled after 4 months barrel-ageing.

À-la-carte: A perfect partner for code and tuna stews. It goes well with vegetables accompanied by meat and sausages. Pies. Poultry. Serve at 15° C.

Tasting note: Intense cherry-red colour. Ageing aromas blended with notes of ripe fruit (blackberry & strawberry). Well-structured in the mouth, this rounded wine is enriched by hints of smoke and species, showing a magnificent persistence of tastes on the palate. Simply superb.
